@Netty Maddy Gordon has pretty much just cemented herself as first choice C for the Silverferns, I highly doubt she’ll want to give that up – unless NNZ re-evaluate their eligibility rules in the next month or two, I can’t see any others following Grace over (unless they’re not a part of the current SF’s squad)
It might help that Miller is back in her home state with balancing study.
Is she at UNE, or a Sydney Uni, does anyone know?
Actually, is she even back in NSW? Iโve made an assumption there.

Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard is pregnant…
Oh wow. Congrats to JFN and family!!
I did wonder if something was going on with her omission from the series against England.
Can Wallam get out of her contract with Mystics? What other options are there out there? It would be great for Wallam to be able to stay in Australia and represent her home state.
Liv Tchine?
Palavi I guess.
Ideally, if there was a way for Wallam to get out of her contract and fill that gap, it would be great. If not for Jhaniele, I’m pretty sure she would already be at Fever.
Congrats to JFN! This is awesome news for her and her family.
Fever are screwed ๐ซฃ๐ณ
Wallam has just confirmed that she’ll definitely be at Mystics next year.
Palavi is a great option too, but it does leave them exposed in terms of experience. JFN is irreplaceable really.
I would go for Tchine. Palavi is good but I think they really need a target GS.
A shame that Wallam / Garbin isnโt available. I think they would both excel at home.
Someone on social media (great source ๐) mentioned Kumwenda?
Wild approach, but what about Kadie-Ann Dehaney as GS. She used to play there, but no Jamaican in that generation was ever going to supplant Aiken/Fowler.Fever already have 4 circle defenders now that Ruth Arayang joins the squad. I would have Olivia Wilkinson as 1st choice GS, with KDH a solid backup, and strong rebounder during Super Shot period. This would then allow them to recruit a 4th middie, which is very important

I thought of that option too! I was actually surprised Vixens didnโt try it out a couple of times when they had gaps in their circle but it is rare to see that switch in Australia.
Australian coaches really donโt like messing with their structures. Dan does think outside the square and obviously had the menโs pathway so who knows. It would probably be best done as a โsometimesโ, rather than a complete switch for the whole season.
As someone whoโs an avid fever fan from Perth I really hope theyโd do a plot twist and announce that Garbin will be the replacement for fever as she was born in Perth but I know thatโll never happen as sheโs quite content with the Vix side ๐ a girl can only dream ๐ฅฒ
Will be interesting to see who they do get and I think Palavi would be a good addition, I really wanted a fever grand final next year tho Iโm so sad
