      Oh for goodness sake, more silly rumours.

      There’s nothing wrong with teams making changes. That’s just sport. Many people who will complain about Firebirds not offering Wallam a new contract, are the same people who complained when they chose her over Aiken-George.

        Firebirds should’ve just gone through with their plan to sign Folau instead of listening to a minority of people.

          There are much better defenders than Kamo, she will not replace Sterling.. she’s on a 3 year contract.
          Besides teams can’t approach other teams until the signing period is open.

          The only changes I see at the tbirds is Orr coming in for Scherian, presuming this is her last season?
          Apparently the tbirds are trying to get Aiken to play on next season and not retire.

          Also Wallam wanted to leave the Firebirds it’s why she opted for a one year contract, maybe the firebirds wanted a team that actually loves the club and not one who’s been unhappy with the environment?

            Exactly. She only signed on for one year and people said it was because she wasn’t happy there. Now, maybe she can play somewhere else where she is happy. But people are still complaining.

                        Good to see that eligibility rules for 11th player have been tightened. No playing international for another country in previous 4 years and 5 games or less SSN or ANZP. (As well as < 26 years old).

                                Sadly for the Firebirds, I think they’re locked in to Dwan and Moore. Which means they could only get one more shooter and it would have to be a big name for them to not sign Wallam.

                                If anything, Ekenasio could be a target for Fever.

                                  Yes it could be one or two NZ players coming with the coach. I wonder who else applied for the coaching job.
