          Very interesting as Verity said she had lost her passion for netball when she retired from Fever. Maybe AFLW didn’t fuel her fire because she didn’t get to play many games.

            Sometimes, going to another sport can show you how much you like the first sport. AFLW didn’t seem to suit her.

              From memory, weren’t they having issues with players contracts back then? It took them a while to come to an agreement? So Verity jumped ship and scored a deal with footy?
