I think if she had played more GD at SSN she would have had a look in. Eddy is a brilliant shut down WD but at GD she truly shines and picks up so much ball whilst also playing a tight tagging game. Easily the biggest ball winner of the Vixens’ backline and given winning clean ball was an issue for them at the end of last season moving Eddy to GD seems like a reasonable solution. Walters is also a ball sneak at WD, she doesn’t get fancy intercepts but sneaky ones through closing speed, similar to how Fraser plays WD.
In combination they are both also very strong at bringing the ball through court fast but also safely. Sets the attack up with a great platform.
