Looks like SSN is 39 pounds for UK people on Netball Pass.
jeepers it’s gone from (NZD)$59.99 last year to $88.99 this year
Code sports top 30 players, does anyone have access to the full list? I was surprised to see Jamie Lee Price at number 4.
Sterling
Austin
Nweke
Price
Garbin
Wilson
Watson
Housby
Horjus
Cholhok
Hadley
Moloney
Fran Williams
Klau
Bruce
Aryang
Caldwell
Parmenter
ATN
Weston
Dwyer
Koenan
Allison
Mundy
Fretwell
RAG
Ward
Garret
RBD
jokShocked at jok at 30 and RBD at 29 surprised at how high cholhok is given she was still finding her feet at TGC hopefully she proves it right but I feel that’s an early call
Surprised Klau Bruce and Fran Williams all beat aryang based on recent form and honestly can’t comprehend the lack of Ash Ervin. Would any team take Garret or ward over ash Ervin? There is also a readers top 30 which is absurd I have no idea who voted and how these results happen but it has Garret at 5 sterling at 13 and nweke at 29 RBD jumps to 11
Also one more thing to add
Aryang Weston Moloney and Wilson were the four voted most underrated in the list
Cholhok koenan and Caldwell all highly voted as overrated
Thank you so much for the lists! I would switch Horjus & Price’s position.
Lol at the readers list.
Agree with the under rated list but… My unpopular opinion is that Jo Weston is far past her peak and she is pretty lucky to keep making the diamonds team going forward.
Cardwell hasn’t had a good run since leaving Tbirds, injuries and she looks unfit for SSN.
Cardwell most likely won’t be making a return this season, just listened to the Mavs podcast, and it sounds like she had her meniscus repaired, which is supposed to be a 6month recovery…
Also listening to pivot tonight it sounds like Fowler shouldn’t be allowed in the squad because kumwenda is signed as a permanent replacement player and given they have an 11th player it will make 12 players for the fever squad.
Super Netball is experiencing a baby boom, but its parental policy hasn’t been updated since 2018.
When the league started eight years ago it was a leader in this space. Now a tricky situation involving two imports has exposed its outdated guidelines. https://t.co/x6JyrteddG

I agree with the comment that Jo Weston is a bit past it (respectfully). But I do wonder having someone like her in the team is more for a fear factor to their opponents?
Re JFN: seen a lot of comments on social media saying she just needs to sit this season out etc. I think any team in this competition, if they were in the same position as Fever, will be doing all they can to get the best GS in the world back into their playing roster. Fever have an abundance of quality defenders, so I wouldn’t be surprised seeing one of them (I would say it’ll be Ruth) making way for her.
I think it’s more the situation around team selection and replacements. Every team would want to have Jhaniele playing for them. If Kumwenda was only a temporary replacement, there would be no problems. But she was named as a permanent replacement. And she’s moved across the country to play. It would seem unfair if she was replaced. Or any player for that matter who was chosen in the Fever squad.
