Admittedly not their top team out there, but Firebirds were embarrassing in that first Q. And even though the super shot was put on just for them, I don’t think they managed even one attempt. Meanwhile, Tactix loved it!
Are Kamo and Veve in the squad at the moment? Haven’t seen them in any preseason games.
Pretty awful performance by FBs, Watson and Burger have been enormous so far.Never mind, Kamo is on now.
Interesting the firebirds are getting beaten quite convincingly.
I went to Tbirds v Fbirds last weekend. A 40+ degree day and Bec Bulley didn’t play her bench at all. I would’ve thought preseason was the time to do it, let alone it being over 40 degrees!!
Wallam played full game with heavy knee strapping.Well, Wallam’s not playing at all in this game! And it shows. Several training partners out there on court and the shooting circle is second-rate really. No Wallam, no Dwan, and Emily Moore just for the first half I think.
Full time: Tactix 63-45
During the 20 minutes of super shots in play…
Tactix 27
Firebirds 13StatsNerd21 – I saw Veve playing the last pre-season game the Firebirds played. It was a game in Australia.
Pulse won against Stars. Hard to take a lot from games when pretty much the entire squad is on and off during the game. One sending off – a Pulse Training partner for dangerous play.
