Strong Q4 by the visitors but we hung on to win 68-63. Good run out for the whole squad. Thanks to all our supporters who came along. Don't forget about our game against NSW Swifts at Te Awamutu on 12 February pic.twitter.com/imM2JlLUHv

#NetballPreSeason@PulseNetball def @FirebirdsQld 58-56 in front of a members-only crowd tonight in Otaki. Understand Romelda Aitken did not take part.
Tomorrow’s match is open to the public.

This mornings game between Pulse v Firebirds is live on the SKY Sport you tube channel.
Same with the Magic v Swift game in a few days time. Thanks Mcleod
Interesting Burger at GD and Rore at WD
The WD spot for the Ferns will be very open for later this year, with MSB out.
If Rore is to play for the ferns again WD is her only option IMO. I expect Jane Watson to be at GD for the Tactix this year.Does anyone have a link to the schedule of these games? Will the Giants, Vixens, Mystics and Stars games be on Sky Sports youtube channel. They’re not there yet.

Dunn didn’t play the 2nd match?
Gordon is going to be a very special player in the coming years.
Pulse and Fbirds are looking fit. Venter will be a good option for Fbirds when Aiken is injured.Still unsure that Temu is the answer at GK. Sure, Jury will be fit soon but Temu just seems a bit off the pace.
Metuarau looks the goods. Shot beautifully yesterday and in her cameo at WA she put some great feeds in. Looking fitter than ever too. Agree re Maddy Gordon, she was absolutely carving it up. Burger was impressive as always too.
For the Firebirds, I thought Dunkley had the best touch on the feed. Hope she gets some good game time at WA with Mi-Mi at C, that looks to be their best lineup. Tippett and Venter combined well too given that they would have had less than a handful of training sessions together.
So are the Thunderbirds the only team (other than Magpies who played Super CLub) that is not playing proper pre-season matches against another Suncorp team or going across the ditch to play some NZ teams?
