Suncorp #TeamGirls Cup, March in Sydney. https://supernetball.com.au/news/suncorp-team-girls-cup-returns
I’m confused about it only being over 3 days. Does that mean the best team in each pool who play off against each other have to play TWO games on that final day?
Sorry I meant apart from the Team Girls Cup, as in going out of their way to organise other pre-season matches
Thunderbirds are also playing Vixens in a couple matches in SA as well as the Team Girls Cup.
After months of not being able to log in I’m finally back in! Yay!
The Steel play the Tactix later on today in Alexandra – will be interesting to see how competitive they are.
Full time Tactix 65 – 41 Steel

Pulse beat Steel 55-58.
Magic vs Swifts Youtube link to todays game 5pm NZ time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKR9a6VyLPM&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR3n6Dey490u2exdB4s6t9CDUZw_MBmAdQfFHQLgKuwtaifOL5LDM2wAd-8
1/4 time Swifts 18 – Magic 13. McPhee’s shooting is lacking, nerves maybe?
Swifts 34 – Magic 29 at Half time. Magic did draw even at one stage.
A lot of rust from both teams but some nice passages of play as well, especially from Garbin and Haythornthwaite this last quarter. Defensive depth is an issue for the Swifts, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Haythornthwaite/Fraser/Hadley midcourt every now and then to begin the season. Still a lot more time to go before SSN starts though.
I wasn’t so impressed with McPhee. I’m sure she is capable of much better but she just didn’t seem as consistent and reliable as the other shooters. Magic’s midcourt is very quick!
