Thanks Ian. Would love to watch the Steel – Pulse game later this afternoon, but out for dinner and the theatre, so hopefully can watch it on replay tomorrow without knowing the result.JRParticipantFebruary 27, 2020 at 9:10 pmPost count: 1373

Gordon is incredible! So much speed and flair.
SRicket started strong and dropped in that 2nd quarter.
Faka off the pace as expected
Overall, good first half from both teams.
Hopefully no major injuries this tournament!!!!!Ian HarkinModeratorFebruary 27, 2020 at 11:54 pmPost count: 15065

How good was Watson/ Miss F!!!😍 Watson was doing a lot of talking on court after every play. It was really good to see Tactix regain their momentum from last year.
Should be a good game between Tactix and Mystics today.
Steel have returned bigger and better than last year. Kalifa makes so much sense for the attacking end. She fits the team like a glove. Fifita/ SR/ Erwood are equally a strong defensive unit for them. Saunders and Crampton of course are dynamite together.
Pulse are on even par with their performances from last year. Despite losing Sulu and Souness, Gordan and Temu look good to go. Welcome back Jury! Needs more time to find her feet.
Magic and Stars are a bit meh. Holly/ Mikaere look promising. I had a feeling Maia was made to look good with the Silverferns attackers in front of her. Not to say the Stars attackers are bad, but it’s not up to standard.
Mystics losing MSB and Mes isn’t ideal, but they might beat some teams on a good day. Sulu/ Karaka did some damage on Steel at times. Which isn’t easy to do because that attack end is slick.
