Players promoted as Steel launches preseason campaign
Ivari Christie (2022 training partner) confirmed as taking Saunders spot. Interestingly Sarahpheinna Woulf is ‘no longer available for 2023’ and replaced by Courtney Elliot.
Be interesting if Christie gets the starting WA role or if they make one of Heffernan or Winders play there.

So with that draw Magic doesn’t play Stars, Tactix doesn’t play Steel. Why don’t teams all play the same number of games?
Does seem strange. But it’s not a competition as such. It’s just a practice event. Not 100% sure but I think teams get a say in how many games they want to play over the weekend.
Prseason event this weekend. It’s not going to be televised unfortunately.
I see Paris Lokotui has been named in the Mainland NNL team which is interesting.
Also a couple of players with familial link in that team too – Ashleigh Poi and Tyra Dunn.
