And just saw a post from TPSR about Bird’s new adventure and the two of them meeting in Portugal. So wonder if Bird has been picked up by a VSL team or looking to travel?

Bird didn’t have the best season with the Tactix, TP had to work super hard… but if she’s landed a UK contract good for her she’s still young enough

Mystics squad for 2023. No real surprises tbh:

                      Sulu Fitzpatrick
                      Michaela Sokolich-Beatson
                      Tayla Earle
                      Monica Falkner
                      Phoenix Karaka
                      Grace Nweke
                      Claire O’Brien
                      Carys Stythe
                      Peta Toeava
                      Filda Vui

Stythe could be/is good enough to secure a starting spot at the Magic, Steel or Stars. I’m sure she is delighted with the contract.

                          New coach, I’m picking Wright?

Wright would be my guess. As for Stythe, I’m assuming they’re preparing for Fitzpatrick’s retirement. Smart move from them.

The team looks like title contenders, but I feel like the coach they eventually contract will have a big influence.

In all honesty they are probably the team to beat next season as long as Nweke stays healthy.

If they can survive with Wilsons coaching I’m sure they will be just fine with whoever ends up with the top position.

Yeah, as long as Nweke stays fit then we won’t have to see anymore questionable changes *shudders in Karaka at GS* ?
