I think it would be nice to see the Stars embracing the youth in the team, just like the Pulse has. Temu at GK, Cullen at GD and Fowler at WD (these two could interchange).
I don’t want to see more imports playing in NZ – its bad enough that 2 of the 6 teams have import GS for the coming season. Next thing we will hear is that there is a lack of players able to play GS at international level due to not enough experience at ANZ!
I see little point in having regional NNL teams if the players aren’t able to or aren’t good enough to advance to the top tier of the competition. When will the stars announce?
Are there any notable omissions from any of the teams?
The one that springs to my mind is Bird, but I don’t see the Stars taking her onIs Rore taking time off? Could we see her at the Stars?
I wonder what’s happening with Khiarna Williams, hopefully she’s at least a training partner somewhere
I can’t imagine Rore signing for next season – baby isn’t due yet and with two under two (which is what it will be) training and lack of sleep would be a mission. I expected her to retire after WC if she made the squad.
Bird is heading overseas, I think she’s on her OE. Stars don’t need her. Khiarna Williams, don’t know whats happened regarding her, she was supposed to return in May but just never appeared.

What’s happening with the Stars? As mentioned on Netty Twitter, could it be Temalasi?
@thunder123 Temalasi would be running out of clubs to play for wouldn’t she? wasn’t it one game in the UK and injured? ive heard shes very unfit
@sami j Magic didnt want Williams back i guess it hard to compete with 2 x capped Silver Ferns, she might go back to Beko bit of a step down really
Stars remain mostly unchanged… but adding former Tactix players Samon Nathan & Kelara Nawai-CauCau
I would have kept Fowler, Johnson and Temu as the defence.
Then, retained Mather alongside Crampton and MRB and then added Nathan.
Unsure how much we’ll see Nawai-Caucau on court tbh..
Nathan is an option in all three positions – mainly a C/WA for sure.
Mather is more C/WD I suppose.
