Its been posted on Facebook. I’m not unhappy with this squad, it will be the final 12 that interests me more. Charles and Anstiss are the only eyebrow raisers but thats already been discussed. Also Parmenter didnt make it and no Thunderbird or Magpie made it. Id say Australia A will have Glasgow Nankivell and Horjus. If Glasgow had played the same amount as 2019 she would have to be in the squad. For magpies the only ones who I can see in the next few years are Rav Braz and Browne who are all injured or on maternity leave. Garret might be ready in a few years.

Yeah I personally would’ve had Parmenter over one of the Fever middies. I guess we’ll find out how well Charles can feed a circle that doesn’t have a target like Fowler. Also no Eddy, personally not too shocked but I think a lot of people will be, I think her, Parmenter, Nankivell, and Dean are in similar positions where they will be forced to get some experience in the Aus A team first.

Also, Bueta retains her spot even though she’s on leave, does that mean Brandley was dropped?

Another noticeable ommission is Eddy. I didn’t think Phillip would be selected tbh so not surprised there. I’m very pleasantly surprised to see Maddy Proud.

I think Marinkovich is favouring experience and that’s probably what has kept players like Klau there over Turner or Eddy. Also getting some WA talent in there(that’s probably helped Garbins chances tbh)

Yeah Garbin is an interesting choice, to me Dwan is miles ahead in consistency and calmness so the only difference I can pick out is experience.

I’m not surprised by the inclusion of Bassett (for experience) but Garbin? I can only assume she’s there for GS backup because she’s been so average this year. I’m really happy for Koenen, but I think all of us predicted that one😂.

I’m surprised that Bueta is in the squad because she’s due in January, but Brandley is missing. Maybe she chose to withdraw??

I’m not surprised that Parmenter isn’t there to be honest. She has a long way to go in WD and needs to tighten up on her WA. I find her too focused on getting the screaming intercept. But I’m surprised by Anstiss. Then again, Marinkovich probably is slightly biased. They could’ve dropped her for Eddy (they have good cover in WD/C and Eddy would be handy as a WD/GD slide).

I don’t think Charles will play that well without a big target like Fowler, but we’ll have to wait and see.🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m please for Proud, She deserve the call up because she’s been great this season.

The defence end doesn’t surprise me. I can assume the defence will consist of Weston, Jenner and Bruce for sure. Klau and Mannix to battle it out for the final GK spot.

Bueta deserves to be in the squad – maternity leave (and as it’s a physical sport, pre-maternity leave) is a part of work place agreements.

Jenner most definitely needs to be in the squad. Yes, we may not like her roughness, but that is exactly why she needs to be brought into the Australian environment – to be coached by someone other than her one-and-only “high performance” coach of Jenke. Jenner is a great talent, reads the game very well, so needs some time with a different coach, different strategies, different team mates.

Sadly Thwaites has been true to her word 😥

Charlie’s without Fowler to feed! That will be interesting. Garbin has be too hot and cold. In the development squad, I would like to see Moore, Dwan, Horjus, Eddy, Parementer.

Great to see Jenner and Proud in the squad, thought they were stellar this season. Would have liked to see Parmenter over Anstiss/Simpson though. Also heard that Parmenter’s eligible for selection in the Roses squad… :unsure:
