Hearing reports that Israel Folau didn’t travel with the Catalans team cause his wife has given birth in France…

Has anyone got any further news?

They kept that one quiet, if true.

Found this on the BBC sports website
” Dragons were without dual-code international Israel Folau, who remained in Perpignan for the birth of his first child.”

Way back this year I read in an article that Maria was pregnant but I don’t always believe what I read. Delighted for her.

There was a couple articles about her expecting in 2020 then nothing… Maria barely posts on social media anymore & when she did it was some pretty harsh comments about her husband. Makes you wonder if she doesn’t want her kid in the public, to be honest her husband is a douche & continues to upset people with his insensitive rants

Kind of sad, she seems to have completely turned her back on NZ Netball, the Ferns and NZ itself. Yet used to love the media, limelight etc.
Read somewhere last year Folau had ended his France contract and was trying to get in the AUS NRL.

Don’t worry he will never play NRL again, I think he might be in Japan doing rugby union.

I hope not the guys a complete tool dont know what Maria sees in him. To fundraise for his lawyers fees as well was a complete ass-wipe move too
