Ppls who organized the Queen concert, Rugby and AFL games had more compassion. Sorry JR, we saw first hand what these fires destroyed. Big fat fail from me.

Minkie I think you are overreacting a bit. Netball doesn’t have to replicate what other events have done. This fundraiser is not for the CFA or other groups it’s to raise money to give to netball in fire affected communities. Most of this money will come from corporate partners. I’m sure they are well aware of the fact that the public has been asked non-stop for donations so this is a little different.

There have been plenty of mentions on the radio and they’ve mentioned the volunteers that are attending too.

Out at the game and the rolling subs are confusing. I guess at home they will announce them but here it’s confusing when the ball goes to the other end and then you look back and there are 3 new players lol

Well, I guess we should have seen this coming really. Australia is much more cohesive, playing like a top test team should, whereas the All Stars are playing like a group of great players that’s been put together just for this game. Still good to watch.

The All Stars with a mini comeback towards the end of that Q thanks to a couple of two pointers in quick succession from Sam Wallace, but the Diamonds are still in control. One quarter to go. It’s been good.

James, that is the problem I have with rolling subs. In my opinion, subs should only be made during breaks in play, and between goals etc

I don’t think they will be used anywhere near what they are in this game. I can’t see many more changes being made than the fake injury ones in normal games
