Former #Silverferns coach Wai Taumaunu will step in as head coach for the Pulse double headers this weekend with Yvette McCausland-Durie testing positive for Covid-19

The Pulse will need a strong start this season so I’m pleased WT is stepping in. Competition is too fierce.
Agreed Baller. I know its because of CG but having double headers this season is not going to be the best for players and teams who are coming back from covid. More pressure on the few who are fully fit.
Binnian Hunt will miss the whole season after rupturing her left ACL. She had previously done her right ACL in 2015 & 2016.
Heres the Binnian Hunt article – for a random reason I was able to post this link

Lokotui is due to have surgery next week. Binnian Hunt who did her ACL pre-season only had surgery last week, apparently due to delays caused by covid which I find interesting. Surely NNZ has insurance for private surgery which, certainly in Auckland, has continued through the omnicron outbreak.
