Is there anyway to watch this from NZ?
Do you have the Netball Live app? If so, you can watch the whole lot from May 1.
I thought it was strange they didn’t cover the fact the two Victorian teams had to quarantine for 14 days. I’m sure they could have got a mash of vision or even photos from the two clubs they could have put together for 30 seconds or so. Would have been interesting to see more about the last minute negotiations to get the hub up and running.
Not enough was made of the whole drama of getting the season going and moving to Qld. And I get that they may not want to get political but it was a pretty big thing for the Qld premier & government to do what they did and very little was said about it. And then you have the Fever who were initially really disappointed that they wouldn’t get to play in Perth, and you had the two Sydney teams who were going to start in Sydney but had to change that at the last minute. There were so many dramas that just weren’t mentioned.
And then there’s the on court stuff. Unless they go back to it in a future episode, they’ve totally ignored the match where Manu’a got sent off and the one where Ingrid Colyer did her knee. And they haven’t mentioned the fact that the Australian captain has spent most of the time riding a bike!!!
Maybe it’s not chronological? I really want to see some of the aforementioned things play out too
Episode 3 was better. Still could have dug further into the Jemma Mi Mi controversy though but we at least got to hear exactly what Jencke said to Mi Mi in those last few moments of the game when she was waiting to take the court.
What happened? I don’t have access to the documentaries but I’m super intrigued!
Waylay <<though but we at least got to hear exactly what Jencke said to Mi Mi in those last few moments of the game when she was waiting to take the court.>>
I watched the two episodes last night …I missed that, can you tell us what she said please.
It was something like she is good (or ok) referring to Dunkley and then she taps Mi Mi and says there is only a minute left I’m not putting you on for that long.
I really want to enjoy this documentary but am finding it very blah. At least they also noted Bassett’s predicament last night. Fitzgerald spoke and Bassett declined to be interviewed.
Seems the documentary makers think Fever or Swifts will win. They are getting a lot of screen time.

Yes but this documentary is about last year.
Certain people agreed to be interviewed and play a part in the show. And they’ve got a lot of air time whereas those who didn’t agree have just been getting incidental air time when it suited the story. It appears that Swifts & Fever are dominating the show a bit, simply because Akle and Marinkovich clearly agreed to playing a big role in the show and to having cameras in the dressing rooms and so on. An example of how it’s played out is that we’ve seen very little of the T’birds who finished 2nd last, but we’ve seen quite a lot of the Magpies who finished last and only won one game.
