She was traditionally a GS but moved out to accommodate Joyce – this is a great opportunity for her, and a good pick up for the Thunderbirds. Now if they can just sort their coaching out …

Great pickup. English shooters suit SSN really well, especially with the two point shot. Cardwell will be dangerous. I’m not sure if she has the playmaking and 60 minute fitness to be a GA with Austin, but she definitely brings great versatility. Very curious to see who the rest of the shooters will be for T’Birds.

They would have let Potgieter go to accommodate Cardwell, I don’t think they could afford both together.

Surely they can fit Cardwell, Austin, Dwan and Horjus in the same team. I don’t see why any needs to miss out. One of their midcourters (McDonald?) would need to be dropped.
