Crossing fingers for an Aus series.

The Nations cup, Cadbury and TJ cup tests are going to pay long term dividends for the SF. We have lost Folua, Langman, Kopua to retirement; Mes, TP, MSB initially to injury and Karaka and Rore sitting out a season or more. Huge turnover.

Ekenasio, Watson, Wilson and Burger are my spine.

I wonder if that’s why they only went with 3 shooters for the England series?
Maybe that 4th spot is for Bailey Mes? If it is, that’s a very versatile shooting circle.

I think if a younger one was being considered, they would have included them in the England series.
I really thought Nweke would have been selected. Seeing as she wasn’t, I’m inclined to think they’ve left that spot open for either TPSR or Mes.

In saying that, I’m sure there’ll be a lot of chopping and changing over this next cycle.

To be honest I haven’t followed any netball this year
Being in Vic, was just too swamped at work with covid crap. Selling our house, buying and moving to a new place (58 chooks, 20 odd guinea fowl, 2 Maremma dogs) you get the picture lol.

It’s taken a long time but we finally have options in the shooting circle and some really good players will miss out. I hope Bailey makes the team, when she’s confident she’s so formidable!

I think Nweke will be used after another full ANZ season.
SR will need to have a strong ANZ to get back into the top 12.
