Is this now a formality and we’re waiting for an announcement, or Wallam’s possibly still got a chance?

I went to Instagram to see if either Folau/Firebirds followed one another 😂 but nothing yet.

Last year, Firebirds were the worst team in the comp by far when it came to the super shot. I reckon when this spot opened up, they’ve just thought who would be the best 2 point shooter around? And yes, she would be it. Not even thinking of anything else, like the fact that she’s been retired for 2 1/2 years and the huge adverse public reaction to her selection.

I do think it’s probably a formality unless that adverse reaction has made them (or Maria) change their minds.

Oh, and the crazy thing about that is that on the weekend, they actually went great with the super shot! Bueta, Wallam and Stower were all very good.

Ian I’ve just tried to do a quick Google search, did Folau even blow the super shot stats out of the water when she played for the TBirds?

Super shots werent around when she played otherwise i reckon she wouldve easily

Yeah, that was the crazy part. She played for Tbirds in 2019, then retired, THEN they brought in the super shots!!!
