Indeed what legend. I didn’t realise she was 36.

A shame she hasn’t had the opportunity to play in the ANZC or SSN long term, but I guess she made a choice regarding her career. And good on her.

If she’s still fit and in the excellent form she has shown over the last couple of seasons, she’ll be needed in the Roses next year. After Harten, Housby and herself the bench is not brimming with options. Plenty of possibilities but none really pushing those 3 for a place. Cardwell& Clark have been underwhelming at Int’l level, Fisher and Drakeford-Lewis are not ready. The only shooter who would be is Turner and she has made herself unavailable for the Roses.

Admire her to work and do Netball at the level she does. Also the amount of travelling she does for Wasps shows her dedication. I would have loved to see her play for Surrey Storm again. She stills needs to play for England as the others aren’t ready.
