I worry about what she will do once Cassidy comes back so hopefully she gets solid on-court time so that she gets picked up elsewhere the following season. I wonder if Vixens tried to retain her but I guess there was no guarantee she would get much court-time behind Eddy, Moloney, and Watson
I really don’t understand why Simone didn’t use her more. Moving Moloney to WA rarely worked well.
I remember there was one game she came on, it might have been her debut, not sure, but she looked extremely nervous and really didn’t contribute much. Now, clearly if it was her debut, she had reason to be nervous, but if McKinnis was going purely on that performance, it wouldn’t have given her much to go on.

What I saw of Lara in the pre-season tournament, really impressed me, and I think she did an excellent job. Her debut wasn’t the greatest, although it wasn’t horrible either. I’m glad she has been picked up, even if its only as a temporary replacement, and I’m glad its the Firebirds. If Firebirds can keep this core group for the next few years, they could replicate the success the Swifts had/are having.
This is a good result for Dunkley. Honey was offered the last midcourt contract at Vixens (as expected).
It will be interesting to see though what she does when Cassidy returns. Play for Fusion I would assume? None the less hopefully it gives her the opportunity for more exposure and she may be able to pick up a 2021 contract somewhere as well (all the Firebirds midcourters are quite young).Tully, has Honey been confirmed for Vixens? I saw a tweet from Vixens about a player announcement but they didn’t say any names as such or did I just miss the hint like they used with the Eddy signing?
Buzzing, like a bee? Honey? Plus there is a honey emoji in the video. It is definitely Honey

Oh, that seems really obvious now, I don’t know why I didn’t catch onto that, lol. Obviously I’m not the brightest crayon in the box. Thanks Netballcrazy1!
