What a special moment for our club! A great win in our first ever match. I absolutely LOVED seeing the SMILES on their faces. It’s been a long & challenging journey to get here, but we made it. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen! #workinprogress #enjoythemoment pic.twitter.com/yD2Zzs3JU8

⏱️A resilient performance from our team who kept fighting until the end, but they just miss out against @SaracensMavs in their second @NetballSL game.#TeamRhinos 💙💛 #VNSL2021 pic.twitter.com/AvcVEsdoyo

Leeds Rhinos Netball struck by key injuries in defeat to Saracens Mavericks
Donnell Wallam has fractured her radius bone and has already had surgery (this morning).
Fi Toner and Tuaine Keenan are having scans today following their injuries 😢
Sorry, yesterday (Tuesday) morning!
Gutted for our Nelle, but she will be back. There’s no stopping this one! Thanks for all the support… 🙌 #donnellwallamfanclub https://t.co/PAeOKhUlrO

Bless her, how rubbish! I hope she manages to get back towards the end of the season but I guess it depends on the severity of the fracture and how she recovers.
Leeds did really well despite all the injuries. If Keenan and Toner are back quick and then they still beat teams like Celtic, Sirens and Stars they could still be in contention towards the end of the season.
This is gut-wrenching for Wallam, but her season is not over yet! #wanews https://t.co/w1nZjwdstI

Dan Ryan's @RhinosNetballSL were dealt a major blow when Fi Toner was confirmed to have a long-term injury earlier this week, however that could open up the possibility for @netballni team-mate Michelle Magee to make her @NetballSL debut tomorrowhttps://t.co/nLz5vQyp1O

Is Fi Toner’s injury an Achilles rupture or just an Achilles strain/injury. Rhinos arent being very clear. I’ve read one article saying it was not a long term injury, whereas the article above says it is a long term injury.
Long term to me would mean Achilles rupture.
From the above article…
“Toner may be back in a month”
It’s not a full on Achilles rupture or she’d be out for a year.
⏱️Brilliant final quarter for the Rhinos who have secured the win against @SurreyStorm in their third @NetballSL game 👏#ReadyToCharge 💙💛 pic.twitter.com/ekig9KHdNJ

WHAT A FIGHT!
Such a gutsy performance from the entire team today. Especially considering the week that was.
Always full of surprises this lot and just loving seeing the learning and gradual progress. Very proud.
Cheers to Storm for a great battle! https://t.co/qsw9ubvyoj
