yay, I’m glad this will be open to crowds, was a bit sad to have Magpies/Fever with no-one able to watch
I’d like Smith to get the start at WD. The Vixens best netball against FBs was with Smith in WD. Eddy has not been performing and should not start. Smith’s attack especially is superior to all of Weston, Eddy and Mannix and is needed to give their attack any kind of platform.
However, I quite like your train of thought with Mannix moving out to GD. We have seen what Weston can do at WD. It’s for this reason that I’d let Eddy go next year if they do decide to drop a defender and reweight their squad of 10. Of course if squads go to 12 under the new agreement then it’s a moot point.

I would start Smith as well. I also want to see more of Weston at WD, she was great there for the Diamonds and she’s been beaten a lot at GD. Eddy really deserves another go at GD, it’s her best position after all.
I wonder where Eddy would go if the Vixens prioritised Mundy over her. I guess Collingwood, if their license isn’t bought by Tasmania or the rumoured second WA team. Swifts would want her back but she seems to really want to be based in Melbourne.
