And Sacha McDonald is in the 12. Newton also drops out. Makes sense with Watson out and Philip carrying a knee injury. Sacha can cover both of them.
"It cannot be underestimated how challenging it would be to move from a goal shooter at this stage of your career to running out of goal attack." –@SharelleMcMahon on @CaitlinThwaites 🥰

We are very excited to share our 2020 @PUMA Indigenous Dress, designed by proud Gunnai/Kurnai woman, Alice Pepper 👣💧
Alice’s design depicts the regeneration and healing of the land and her local community in East Gippsland following the summer’s devastating bushfires🌱 pic.twitter.com/L0DtERxuu8

Watson isn’t on the team list for round 13. Simone said it was “just a stinger” but could it be worse? She didn’t attend the last game which is interesting for the co-captain?
In an interview she said that they were just being overcautious, because with top spot already sewn up, they could afford to give her a rest.
Great to have @LindaCPearce chat to both Alice Pepper and Joyce Brown OAM about what #SSNIndigenousRound – particularly in 2020 – means to them. 🧡
"We need to do it a lot better, because we’re wasting so much talent, no doubt."

Watson has flown with the team to Cairns this morning.
MCKinnis said in the press conference after the last match that Watson would play against Firebirds. Of course things can change in a week.
But like Ian said on the Vixens podcast McKinnis said their were being overly cautious as they had the time and ability to do that.
They know they need Watson to win.
Have team lists even been released for the weekend games? They only released Collingwood and Lightning originally.
A fiery Firebirds team just too good for us today 🔥
We re-set and look ahead to the final round of the @supernetball season 👊

Natasha Chokljat joined Hear if you need this week with @cstanaway and @SharelleMcMahon! 🤩 They reminisced on the old Phoenix and Vixens days, while Clint attempted to do some digging into the adventures Sharelle and Tash got up to! 😂
