Tonight we have the prelim final.
Matrics V Garville – 8:40pm Adelaide time.
Lining up for Matrics: Lucy Austin (Tbirds TP), Laura Packard (ex Tbird) Georgia Dent (originally named member of u21 squad), Tyler Orr (Magpies last year, TBirds TP this year) and some local young SA U17/19 girls.
Garville has Chelsea Pitman playing for them.
Should be a good game, but see Matrics winning comfortably.

Would love to see Garville upset Matrics and South Adelaide upset Contax (reserves). But both seem unlikely and we will probably see another year of Contax and Matrics GFs.

South Adelaide with the chance to go up by 4 but they botched it twice. Contax then had the chance to get it back to 1 but a missed shot and then their C has been sent off and Contax have to play on with no WA. Very dramatic last quarter.

Pitman, as expected, absolutely blistering the court and feeding amazingly. Unfortunately, the Garville shooters have missed a few too many shots and very little defensive pressure means Austin is dominating. Matrics are up by 10 at QTR Time.

Amelia Anderson at GK has helped challenge Austin a bit more (even though Garville are still 16 down). Crazy to think that she was an AMND player for Contax last season (AMND is the level below Reserves netball) and is now playing Premier League. Just shows the strength of Contax since Anderson is in the SA U/19 Team.
