That really surprises me. I’m not necessarily against it, just didn’t think she was at the experience level they may have been looking for.

I either Colyer or Charles gets a Diamonds call up over other deserving players I would be absolutely flabbergasted and although I am not hot thrilled with her as coach, it is only fair to give her a chance and see if she can bring together the next generation of Diamonds players

Would love someone with the scoop on Mckinnis. Maybe she wasn’t willing to stand down from SSN for the comm games and World Cup years. Or did she even apply? I don’t think it was ever confirmed she did? Everyone seemed reluctant to confirm if she did?

Definitely reminds me of when England head coach was announced as even Tracy Neville as departing head coach said to Tamsin Greenway on tv something about passing her the reins, awkward.

I hope Stacey surrounds her self with the right experience.

Any suggestions for assistant coaches? I’d love to see Anita Keelan but not sure who else? Maybe someone else up and coming. Another experienced ex player?
