For the Kiwi fans in here SSN will be shown on Spark Sport, itβs just come up on there this morning.
Thanks for that info re SSN. Wonder how many NZ netball fans will subscribe to another service just to watch OZ league. Not me. Happy to just watch NZ netball on Sky NZ.
With 4 games of SSN and 3-4 games of ANZP it’s a lot of netty each weekend. I love that people OS can watch the NZ games, but even last weekend with only ANZP I wasn’t fully focused all games, especially those that weren’t close.
I’m in New Zealand and support the Silver Ferns but I don’t like watching the ANZ. I will get Spark sport for SSN as I prefer that. However it would be nice just once, that NZ netball fans get to watch international netball and not pay for it.
I cancelled Spark Sport yesterday so I could afford to watch this competition – this is really disorganised. Kat, I agree – NZ beams out netball free, it would be nice if other countries reciprocated.
kinda frustred about this too – maybe they’re all just pissy because SKYNZ provided better coverage to both the Super Netball and Super League than their counterparts (full, all games, uninterrupted, not late starting, not cutting off early coverage)
its a whole lot more expensive watching through spark spot compared to the season subscription – however I need to stop complaining and be grateful I get to see the games π
Not happy about having to get another subscription service. I already get sky sport and their mysky functionality is excellent for recording to watch later. Love the Aussie league with its two point shot and Nissan net points and high intensity games etc. I might try the trial 7 day offer and decide after that. Not sure how much I’d actually get to watch as there’s nba and nz league as well.
Well on hearing the netball has just started when Saturdayβs match results were reported in the News sports segment on TV last night I wondered why I had not seen it in the program listings. I had completely forgotten the discussions of last year and only now have looked back to February last year for the announcements. From memory netball disappeared before from TV for one year when it moved to Foxtel(?)) and nothing was shown on TV except the international matches, then it was back the following year when some government money may have been stumped up to make some games accessible. So no netball for me this year as I donβt have any streaming service connections and my TV’s are plain vanilla models with no fancy features. Not watching matches on my laptop screen either.
Not sure why you don’t want to watch matches on your laptop. I do it all the time.
