Shaun and I are extremely excited to share that we are expecting a baby girl due August 2020. Although this puts netball in the backseat and unfortunately I won’t be suiting up in the red dress with the swifts girls for 2020, this isn’t the end of my netball journey and hopefully this soon to be whale will be back on that court in the near future. Thankyou to the all the @nswswifts girls, coaches management and staff for being so incredibly supportive and I can’t wait to come watch you guys kill it this year! Wow, after signing her over some of the great upcoming youn talent, I am kind of disappointed she won’t be playing in the SSN but best of luck to her and her family. I hope she returns to the Swifts as she has made it clear she would like to return to netball, it would be nice to see what she can bring to this league, even if not a starting player.

Can someone give me some clarification on who is actually in the Swifts’ list of 10? I doesn’t seem overly clear to me, as to who is a replacement player, injuries, etc.

Haythornthwaite, Hadley, Proud, Cullen
Moore, Turner, Klau

I’m hoping that Craig (née Halpin) will replace Cullen

No they haven’t announced a temporary replacement for Proud yet. I don’t reckon Proud will be ready by game 1, and they won’t rush her when they’ve already got Haythornthwaite in WA who is in great form. I imagine Tayla Fraser will be Proud’s replacement for the first few rounds.
