NWeke is potentially the ferns’ biggest weapon and if a team is built around her, they will be very difficult to beat.
Sterling, Bruce will have a field day against Nweke. Unless the passes are 100% plopped by the goal post.
Think positive thoughts Mcleod :good:
Honestly there’s so much negativity at the moment!! Let’s just get behind this team and see what happens!
Interesting thought though, this team is more similar (in terms of patients named) to the last CW team than the World Cup teamExactly Netballfan1
We know it’s gonna be tough but at least we’re gonna try.
Noel’s picked this team not us 🙂I was kinda leaning towards Eke making the team over Grace. But I trust Noels to know what she’s doing. I know when Eke returns its going to be a fierce World Cup. Especially with Jane and Burger back!
But we do have Grace Nweke in the team now. Moving and holding game plan at hand. Massive rebounder and scorer in our arsenal. Bring on the Cadbury series.
Nweke will have great service from TPSR or Bailey Mes. Add in Crampton, Saunders or Souness she should get some decent ball from them too.
Dame Noeline Taurua has not joined the Silver Ferns in camp after testing positive for Covid-19. She is aiming to link up with the team later this week, following her completed self-isolation and series of negative testing. Debbie Fuller steps in as head coach.

Ian, do you or anyone know the protocols for the Comm games and testing positive for covid.
I mean covid is rampant in the UK but everyday life is fairly normal.
I wonder if we will see DNT at all this week courtside.
Bet your bottom dollar Deb and Noel’s will be on speed dial
I’m sure others on here may know more than I do, but I heard Courtney Bruce has not had Covid yet?
@Baller.. if you look at Wimbledons rules might be an idea on what the comm games will do…. you dont have to test at all, its up to the individual if they want to. If you test positive you could still play, again it was up to the individual to decide if it was right to withdraw from the event. Mind blowing. Not sure how that equates to team sports though.
UK seem to just want to live and let die literally.
