No, I don’t have the team yet, but I have this…
I’m going out now so if someone gets the team, please post it here.
I’m back. Still nothing?
Maybe not enough have passed Dame Noels Yo-yo.
Well I’m glad there’s no spoilers this time. Oh no! No Watson!
You could be right mcleod. Not everyone looked in top shape.
just saw someone comment on the SF’s FB post about netball at the Olympics that they think the announcement is at 1.30

Georgia Tong
Filda VuiThe big news was Poi being dropped to the development squad after becoming the starting C in the Conn Cup… Also Tong over Temu.
Congratulations to the new SF.
No Mes, Dunn, Bird.
I thought Savaiinaea and Temu should be in the Dev team – also no Dunn or Earle
a lot of WD’s & WA’s in the main squad….
A number of players are currently on return to play plans being managed by Netball NZ staff in consultation with ANZ Premiership teams to support their return to international netball. These players were not considered for selection but will continue to work with Silver Ferns staff in the coming months.
These players include; Michaela Sokolich-Beatson (rehab of her Achilles), Bailey Mes (noted above, rehab of her knee), Phoenix Karaka and Katrina Rore (maternity leave), along with Kayla Johnson.
No Poi, that’s crap. She won the Con cup for the Ferns with her speed.
Kersten and Gordon very lucky to retain their spots in the main squad. I would have put Poi ahead of Kersten especially in C. Wonder if Taurua will persist with Gordon at WD. Her cameos in Con Cup were there when she was such a gun at WA.
Little disheartened for Burley, but Watson is clearly not going to be in the team for Con Cup so a space there. And, remember Jane got her debut back in 2016 when she wasn’t even named in the original squad for the Quad Series.
Keen to hear Taurua’s thoughts on some of the omissions, particularly the shooters mentioned (not so much Bailey given injury) and also Temu from that development squad who I thought had a cracking season.
