At the 2023 NWC Qualifiers in Fiji yesterday Samoa overcame Cook Islands by 19 goals, while Tonga were too good for PNG to remain the only unbeaten side.

Tonga is off to the World Cup!
I wont be surprised if Palavi gets snatched up by one of the VNSL teams. She’s got so much potential and is not afraid to go to post.
What an intense game!!
The Fiji Pearls showcased an exciting and electrifying game of Netball against a strong Tifa Moana Samoa side beating them 45 – 43 at the Vodafone Arena, Suva. #RoadToCapeTown pic.twitter.com/vmkiT1sNXI— Netball Fiji (@FijiNetball) July 22, 2022
So does that mean if Fiji win tomorrow they’re the second team through to the WC?
A shame to see Samoa go down to Fiji, not the best performance from them. Great stuff from Tonga though, I’m very excited to see how they develop over the coming years. Palavi will surely be a Vixens or Collingwood TP next year.
Pretty sure Palavi has been named in collingwoods anc team and with Nyah Allen being elevated there is a spot for a shooting tp there so it very likely could be Palavi
It’s the final day of the 2023 NWC Oceania Qualifiers in Fiji. The home nation are in with a chance to make it to Cape Town, with Tonga having qualified.

Fiji gets 2nd place and qualifies for the World Cup!
Good on Fiji going in with no real ‘big’ names or those on league contracts (nawai imo doesnt count as a big name player), taking down a decent samoa team yesterday was a good accomplishment, was a good game to watch too and the only close game.
Side note… to say they were international aussie umpires, the umpiring was so confusing and questionable the whole tournament…
