This was posted this morning on my association’s FB page about the death of Janette Wright, Rob’s mum.
“It is with great sadness that KNA Netball mourns the passing of our founding member Jeanette Wright yesterday afternoon.
What a legacy Jeanette has left our Netball Family, volunteering her services to our community for more than 50 years.
Jeanette was a lady who was so dedicated to the development of netball in this region showing so many young people, now adults why they so love our game.
Jeanette was a fabulous Coach and Mentor always encouraging everyone to do their best.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
RIP Jeanette and thank you for all you have given KNA to be who we are today.”
I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Wright during my junior years at KNA and my club of West Pymble and she was the nicest lady. She will be sorely missed.
