Y’all forgetting Taylor Cullen at Sirens. She’s killing it and really stirring that Sirens midcourt.
I agree, drop Parsons and Kadeen. Been impressed with Harvey, she reminds me of Kelly Jury and Susan Furmanne.
As for WA cover, Hannah Joseph and Iona Christian deserve this.
@Picasso 123, I hear you and I agree. Cullen is standing out in the Sirens. She definitely deserves a spot over Eculyer Dale.
I have a drop list and a “watch your back” list, containing Gibson, Simmons, Marshall and Simmons.
I’m wondering if they have reached their peak  and would some of the young guns develop further if they were in the pathway?

š Up-and-coming stars @JessThirlby has named 24 players in the 2021/22 Vitality Roses programme and seven athletes in the Roses Futures programme š¹— England Netball (at š”) (@EnglandNetball) May 11, 2021
Interesting!!
So itās:
Out: Gibson (surprised!), K Corbin, Parsons & Shimmin (interesting!)
Futures out: Ecuyer-Dale, Jess Shaw & ChristianIn: Adio (good call), Clark (I wonder why she wasnāt in last year, must have been her choice?), Joseph (well deserved but she seems very injury prone š¬), Rhea Dixon (again very well deserved.
Futures in: Rushton (Yes!), Grierson (good choice) and Fadoju š
Iām surprised by no Shimmin, maybe she just wants to trial as Iām assuming ESB will. Is that called P3?
I didnāt think Pitman qualified anymore as a P2 as sheās not playing national league netball. Still glad to see her but canāt really see her getting into a squad.
Surprised Alice Harvey didnāt make it into futures, I know sheās still relatively new but sheās tall and has potential.
Also feel for Gibson but I guess sheād be up against Oyelsola who has been far superior.
I’m 50/50 on Adio but she’s injured I believe. They should’ve roped in Harvey, swapping her with Adio or at least adding her to the future’s program. It’s time England developed a tall GK who can combat shooters like Fowler, Nweke and Bassett.
Wow, canāt believe Pitman is eligible! I remember her saying that she would have to go and trial for the team at the end of the domestic season or something. Honestly so rapt for her! Shame not to see Shimmin there (even though she may just opt to trial later in the year) but I can understand (with limited knowledge on this) that thereās some exciting young defenders coming through.
Just occurred to me that Shimmin probably decided sheād try for the Roses on the basis that she played for Adelaide as thatās home. Now sheās playing in Queensland she only has a small amount of time at home and probably doesnāt want to spend further time away on Roses camp, especially with the quarantineing requirements at the moment!
@englishrose, thanks for the in and out breakdown.
Well, well not a bad group overall. Dixon, Joseph :good:
Ella C :negative: IMO her game hasn’t changed and she’s only played fast 5 internationally. Pitman the game is changing so quickly and she won’t be playing at the top level. She can’t be in the starting 7 surely  so why not take someone who, with a bit of development, could make the starting 7.
I would drop Ella C and Pitman. Move Carter and Rothwell or Rushton into the main squad. Add Harvey and Christian into the futures B-)
Disappointed to see Shimmin and Christian not selected at all but overall a pretty solid squad
