Can’t wait for the ANZ to start, then I can watch Poi run rings around the 2 Silver fern Cs
Congratulations to Geva Mentor. What a legend!
Australia were very good. Simple as that.
Combinations were right and Bueta was always going to bring something to that circle. Watson also is a rock at WA.NZ didn’t click.
NZ are really missing Eke, Poi, Watson and Gordon. Gordon and Poi offer more speed and unpredictability.Nweke isn’t an impact player. I would start her with Wilson Crampton Saunders Burger Karaka and Jury. I don’t think Fitzpatrick is back fully from her injury.
While it is disappointing, this is the time to try new players and combinations. NZ has lost most of their top players over the past few years and it takes time.
Grace and Tiana haven’t played against Aus at this level. Kayla and Phoenix were out for a few years. Claire is a WD not a C at international level. Also, this is the youngest shooting circle NZ has ever had. They need time and game experience.Noels took Vui over, so we need to see what she can and can’t do.
I don’t expect a win against England, but hopefully we see players step up.
This is only Quad Series, the bigger picture is Com Games.Johnston was ok for someone who hasn’t played a proper netball game in years!
I want to see Mila with Gina at some point. Gina seems lost for some reason. Maybe she is lacking understanding with Tiana and Sam.While it was a thrashing, it isn’t the end of the world and NZ will get the experience they need.
@EnglandNetball play @SilverFernsNZ for the 36th time on English soil today and this clip was the 1st at #NWC1963 in Eastbourne. GD for @SilverFernsNZ Dame Lois Muir with the intercept !! 🏴 v 🇳🇿 #NetballQuadSeries2022 pic.twitter.com/Gr9IibeVnH

For England today, Jade Clarke in, Allison out.
For SA, Nicola Smith in, Burger out.
NZ unchanged.

GD Turner
GK BruceWait whattttt was Jade Clarke not in the first 12 for any particular reason? I swear she’s been a part of the 12 do so many years consistently that I can’t even keep count. But to be fair I have no idea what form she is in as I don’t keep up with VNSL

1/2 time: Aust 27-23.
Diamonds have won both quarters by 2. Not the dominant performance many would have expected. They just look a bit lethargic and dare I say it, a bit complacent? Not going as smoothly as the first 3 Qs yesterday. Msomi is having a great game for SA.
Garbo on!
Bueta & Garbin in the circle together. Not sure what’s gonna happen but it’ll be exciting.
3/4 time: Aust 45-32
The Diamonds really put the foot down in that Q. Both Aryang and Garbin have played well since coming on, and the team clicked, winning the Q 18-9.
