Hopefully we see Aiken/Bueta/Dwan rotate in the shooting circle like the Vixens did this year, Dwan is too talented to be sitting behind Aiken/Bueta on the bench!
Returning Queensland Firebird Kim Ravallion joined the boys to discuss her return to peak fitness following the birth of baby Georgie and she and partner @CollingwoodFC Adam Treloar will manage living apart in 2021https://t.co/l7DyTyN6X9

It’s interesting to me that so many posters think Dwan will spend time on the bench. Considering Bueta will be having a relatively brisk turnaround from giving birth (and there may be complications such as c-sections that could delay her return) and Aiken is towards the end of her career, I feel like Dwan might get the most court time of the three. Sophomore seasons can be tough as well so even if she is on the bench I don’t think it will be a bad thing for her progression.
Yeah, I think Bueta will actually be slow getting back. She is due in Jan so it will be a tight turnaround. I was kind of surprised to see her in the Diamonds squad for 2020/21 when Brazill, who was also in the 2019/20 squad and in great form, will probably be back sooner but isn’t included in the squad. But I get it, Bueta is much more experienced for the Diamonds. Anyways, Dwan should still get some good court time and its only her second season so I’m not too worried.
Proteas shooter Ine-Mari Venter is set to leave the Queensland Firebirds to explore her playing opportunities overseas.
We've loved having Ine as part of our Club and will always consider her to be a member of the Purple Family!#HeartofFire

I noticed Ine-Mari liked a player announcement post on Saracen Mavericks Instagram. Perhaps she is the replacement shooter for George Fisher
Yeah, when I first saw that Venter was going overseas, I though maybe Mavs or Rhinos. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it Mavs, itd be a pretty awesome replacement!
I posted elsewhere I suspect Venter will end up in Super League. Just not quite the same level as the other GS in SSN and not a great GA option. But in Super League she could dominate the GS position. Needs to play after bench sitting for two years.
I did think that too – if she is at Mavs I’d assume she would be playing with Corbin which would be an interesting partnership for her.
So sad to see it’s Cassidy that’s leaving the Birds. I think she was such a work horse for them. Big loss
Midcourter Mahalia Cassidy has informed the Queensland Firebirds she will be signing with a new club for season 2021 and beyond.
She's been a fiercely loyal and selfless teammate and will always be welcome at our Club.
Thank you Harls, we wish you every success!#HeartofFire

That looks like the complete Firebirds team for 2021
Romelda Aiken
Gretel Bueta
Lara Dunkley
Tippah Dwan
Rudi Ellis
Tara Hinchliffe
Kim Jenner
Jemma Mi Mi
Kim Ravaillion
Gabi SimpsonThis team should be able to go all the way to finals this year. They were building something great this year, and the addition of Beuta and Rav will only strength that, and bring a bit of experiene! They will also have a VERY strong bench, with all of them able to play at this level well and provide meaningful change. I’m VERY excited about this team!
