Harten, Mentor and the Tbirds collection have their last SSN game his weekend
Wonder if they will make the short trip over. No reason not to.I doubt they will unless Netball England will pay for their returning quarantine. Even if that would be paid for I’m still not convinced. It’s a good opportunity to try some of England’s less experienced players anyway, Mentor and Harten won’t be around forever.
Hopefully we can see Cobden back in the red dress :yahoo:
Silver Ferns' home series wouldn't have been possible without financial forward-thinking https://t.co/f7iO06odEM pic.twitter.com/6lAoZ8dwwg

ONE very good reason not to see some if not all of the SSN Roses:
BURN OUT after the very long prolonged SSN season!!!
Another very good reason a 2nd 14day Quarantine for Geva. It’s tough.
She will then be expected to do another 14 day Q when re-entering Victoria! That will be a total 6 weeks stuck in a hotel room!!!

Hey guys, can anyone clarify why this tournament was allowed to go ahead and announced a day or so after we heard of the postponement of the constellation cup? Thanks
Probably due to it being held all in one country. All three tests are not only in one country but in fact just one venue, over a matter of only 5 days or so.
Whereas, with the Con Cup, it seems they are determined to have it held in both Aus AND NZ and that isn’t really possible just at this stage.
It’s still beggars belief that we can’t have it in SOME form as opposed to postponing. Especially with a new coach and squad? Such weird timing for me to then announce that England is coming!
It would be a bit unreasonable to expect the Australian girls to show up for Diamonds after some have lived in a hub for over three months and played a condensed season. SSN finishes on the 18th of October, add in the four weeks of quarantine travelling to NZL and back plus the matches and it’s already December. I don’t expect players are willing to go through that right now, which is why the players association pushed for the postponement. Even if the entire series would be played in Australia they wouldn’t meaningfully be able to rest any earlier. Australian players never play as many tests due to how long their pre-seasons and the burnout risks that come with that so I think it’s a good thing it’s been postponed.
The England series has been on the agenda for a few weeks, it has taken time for the NZ Govt etc to confirm the ok.
Anyone need a squad to binge watch the new test series with? 😏#RiseAgain pic.twitter.com/5pzLnGguAS
