Now Ferns can’t seem to score this ball, so many rebound but lucky the English defenders got called for contact/obstruction about 3 or 4 times
Guthrie seems to be in a lot of pain, looks like an ankle. Her teammates carry her off the court. Clarke comes on
Has Corbin just thrown every pass that’s been turned over and a missed shot?
Ferns were up by 8 at one point this quarter, now back to 4. Watson takes out Fisher in trying to stop that from becoming 3. She succeeds.
Fran Williams has got concrete feet. Bring Oyesola back on
3/4 Time: Ferns 39-33
Ferns will come into the final quarter with an eight-goal turnaround but they never looked comfortable and weren’t able to maintain their lead, England hot on their heels.
Fran Williams seems quite slow tonight. I personally haven’t seen much of her gameplay but her speed is lacking in comparison to what I feel we see from SSN GDs but she was at the WC so I’m guessing that I’ve just spotted a few poor moments to comment on
Souness helped open up the attack. Her speed was needed.
Eke is not providing enough movement. I feel like she needs to be rested.3/4 time: NZ 39-33
Wilson 28/30 (93%)
Ekenasio 11/13 (85%)Fisher 17/17 (100%)
Drakeford-Lewis 9/12 (75%)Most stats fairly even except gains going NZ’s way 11-6
England confuses me. Why take off a 100% shooter??
Silverferns are in for a rude awakening when the Aussie Poms return.
Jury on at GK, Fitzpatrick to GD, Watson off
I’m disappointed that the Diamonds couldn’t work something out to play some matches this international season. It would have been a good opportunity to blood some new squad members. I believe it was hosting issues related to COVID quarantining that caused the Quad Series to be postponed?
This is a full past and present Pulse lineup lol. 😍
