    :yahoo: OMG :yahoo:

The Roses really stepped up that game and I’m sooo pleased. My fear was that the winning margin would be bigger.

Well Done Roses, the only way from here is UP

Can’t wait for the final match. DNT will want an improved performance. She’s not going to pull anyone extra into the squad, she’ll expect them to dig deep.

I feel that Kersten is doing that so I hope she gets a start at C. Saunders has always been the steady, not flashy player but I do think she needs a rest. Remember she doesn’t normally play full games for the Ferns, if she does it’s not always at C and back to back.

I’m thinking DNT may start the same 7 again and in the 2nd half let Kelly and Faulkner have a run

Roses, I hope Vicky gets on court again and for more than a few minutes this time. She did get hand to ball but I felt she lacked a sense of urgency, she was too quick to drop back from marking her player and she didn’t contest the rebounds. Let her play and tell her to hunt everything!

Liked Amy Carter but I also liked Marshall. Let them play and give Serena a rest.

You feel for the England players who have travelled to NZ, had to quarantine etc and get no game time. And not even sitting on the bench either.

Have to feel for England as well, esp when they will fly home and back to lockdown.
They have all the freedom in NZ.

Rose’s came back well in that quarter. I hope they have enough gas in the tank to keep this up for a full game

Roses change Fisher and malcolm for Cardwell and Parsons. Not sure that was good ideal.

Mean while Ferns swap crampton for souness.

OMG how many turnovers is that for the Roses. ??? Cardwell is the main culprit as the wheels begin to come off the bus for the English :-( :-(
