Okay people, what are your predictions? This is a very strong Ferns team and after the weekend, they’re clearly in great form. But the understrength Roses will be out to give a good account of themselves and prove they have strong depth.

I think NZ will win, but that England midcourt is strong. If Fisher is fully fit and plays, it will be a tight game.

Ha ha, Ama says England by one. Storm says NZ by 7.

I just hope it’s not a white wash by the Ferns.

The England starting seven have all at least got SOME international caps, but they really don’t have a hope against a full strength NZ side. I feel it’s pointless to do this without Mentor, Harten, Housby, Haythornthwaite, Guscoth etc. It’s not exciting for us at all. Really a shame the way they organised this, if it was a week later then all those athletes could have had a quick break and then gone to NZ for 2 weeks. NB the only English player in the grand final was Francis. English players not even in the finals – Guscoth, Pitman, Harten, Mentor. Sure, I get that they needed to have a solidified squad… but …. sheesh.

Anyway, I’m over the disappointment, I’m happy to see the fresh faces and different tactics. And, sure, a good experience for the junior players that may eventually help Netball England.

    NZ to win by 29.

Doubt it will be 29. England will match the Ferns for a bit. Ferns by 200

Strong start for the kiwis. England actually doing a reasonable job in defence, but it’s breaking down in attack for them. NZ 13-6

Ha ha, that was funny mcleod. Nah it’s not going to be 29. Try 200!

    1/4 time: NZ 15-10

    Wilson 10/10 (100%)
    Ekenasio 5/7 (71%)

    Corbin 6/7 (86%)
    Cardwell 4/4 (100%)

Sophie Drakeford-Lewis comes on for Corbin now. Imogen Allison on for Clarke.
