Can’t believe Nelson wanted time off. Does anyone know the last time she played an international match??

With Romelda getting married this was her chance to claim a place in the squad. Looking to Comm Games they won’t want 3 GSs with poor mobility, regardless of their rebounding ability. Allison, Robinson and Beckford all play GA & GS so would be better choices than Nelson.

The South African Proteas have pulled out of the scheduled series against the Sunshine Girls and Calypso Girls in Kingston, Jamaica next month.

Jamaica’s men’s side have been called in to replace the Proteas.
