Sarahpheinna Woulf ** subject to eligibility criteria
If they were wanting an import player why didn’t the go for sigi burger, Caldwell or mvula who imo are better GS options than fisher
I hope Fisher can get into the country.
Fisher will kill it. This is the one that’s got me intrigued…
Sarahpheinna Woulf “subject to eligibility criteria”
She’s just been named in the Aust U21 team. Is she going to turn her back on that?
Brilliant news about George Fisher. She’s a great fit for Steel. She turns and shoots, something Steel have been missing in the circle.
Such intesting signings, but great ones at that! George Fisher will absolutely rip it up, she’s the kind of player who will raise to the occasion every time. Such a good career move for her!
OMG didn’t expect that but good for Fisher. She can hold, move and shoot from any where. She’s good at pulling in the bombs Kadeem throws at her I hope she can do the same with Metuaraus.
I expected Steel to retain Mccollin she was good for them. I suppose Metuarau is looking for a starting GA bib so one of them would probably have to spent sometime on the bench!
if anyone wants to see Wilshier and Woulf in action check out the Sapphire Series on youtube

O’Connell gone? I expected her to be named but miss part of the season due to her injury
I’d love a Fisher/Metuarau circleI think Woulff was a shooter and has now been moved to defence or the other way around but she did make Lightning before she got injured, 2018 I believe and Russell came in as her replacement
I hope Fisher can carve out a name for herself here. The 1 blip in the competition I’ve seen is the imports. They stay for one season or are under-utilised then call it quits.
I guess it’s a testament to the quality of young home grown talent coming through- but then invest in that and not an international player. Anyway looking for to Fisher- Tiana combo!
We are excited to welcome George to our Steel Family for the 2021 ANZ Premiership season 💖💙

Apart from Fowler, the imports in the ANZP have mostly been 2nd stringers. Fisher is one who would be good enough to be an import in SSN. She’ll be a star providing she’s got good support, but that’s a question mark with no Crampton there.
Fisher is a good signing, as you say Ian most imports in the ANZ are 2nd stringers.
Hopefully from now on the teams sign worthwhile imports, Fisher is the only import so far.
And may well me the only one. Although I do think the Magic might get someone non NZ -
