Would Dunn want to go back to Steel when she moved because she wasn’t required (or so I understand).
Metuarau needs to move if she wants a starting position as a shooter.

This tiered system may well shake the teams up well and truly.

If Dunn moves there’s no real reason for Metuarau to go. Surely they’d just move Ekenasio back into GS.

MDH confirmed on 3 feet radio that there is a new tiered system in place.
Will be interesting to see if Pulse can retain so many top players.
Hopefully Tactix can keep their starting 7.

Daystar Swift is going back to T&T. Not surprising at all. Must be hard being away from her daughter and family. Maybe stars will make an offer to Fakahakaou to go back to Auckland. She is thriving in Christchurch though!

Maryann, Dunn only moved because Steel only offered her minimum contract and wouldn’t budge on that for her first year despite knowing she would be starting with TPSR I am told.

Funnily enough, if Dunn moves back to the south then the Pulse already have another shooter lined up who will take her place so Metuarau will still end up on the bench. She really needs to move.

Steel would have to be in a good position to attract some very good players down here so I hope they do. I know one is coming down next week to check out everything and is likely to sign so if you happen to see a SF down here that’s not normally here you know it’s her. Hopefully, the Steel gets at least one good shooter down here. They might have to go for two because at this stage once Kalifa leaves she won’t be allowed back in the country. I want the Steel back near the top of the table!

With the Tier system in place, you could almost play a little game of “guess the tiers”

With the Tactix, for example, Watson would be Tier 1, who is the other one? TPSR, Poi as they are SF’s or Faka even though she is only development? Bird at a guess would only be level 3 with Watson, TPSR, Poi and Faka ahead of her? I don’t know, I’m only guessing but having this tier system in place is really going to shake things up.

I would love to see Bailey Mes suite up for Magic. I think she’d be perfect for them!

    Burger maybe?
I don’t think Fifita did a bad job and will be disappointing if she was back on the bench

Sorry Mcleod, I haven’t heard any more gossip as of yet but the meat market only opened yesterday. Now before anyone gets upset I’ve heard players, coaches and even the CEO’s refer to it as the meat market even though I think that’s a pretty crass name for it but that’s where I heard it first.

So Tuesday was the day that the list of unsigned players was given to all franchises and so begins the mad rush for the clubs to try and get these players if they want them. I imagine it might take a week before rumours start getting around.

It’s not Mikaere Daises but you are right, she was down here recently I hear so maybe she is looking for a change also. She wouldn’t be a bad pick up for the Steel. She has played here before so it wouldn’t be too big of a move.

Mikerae changes teams too often. Surely she will remain at Magic to be close to her family.
Steel should continue developing Fifita. She will continue to evolve her game and will be a very good GK.

Crampton signs with Stars. Very interesting

Yes James, that was because the Steel missed out on one of their key signings. Had they got her, Crampton would have stayed with the Steel.

Harrison back, did not expect that by any stretch of the imagination.

Nice to see Malesala back, probably the physically strongest player in the league.
