Maryann, Dunn only moved because Steel only offered her minimum contract and wouldn’t budge on that for her first year despite knowing she would be starting with TPSR I am told.
Funnily enough, if Dunn moves back to the south then the Pulse already have another shooter lined up who will take her place so Metuarau will still end up on the bench. She really needs to move.
Steel would have to be in a good position to attract some very good players down here so I hope they do. I know one is coming down next week to check out everything and is likely to sign so if you happen to see a SF down here that’s not normally here you know it’s her. Hopefully, the Steel gets at least one good shooter down here. They might have to go for two because at this stage once Kalifa leaves she won’t be allowed back in the country. I want the Steel back near the top of the table!
With the Tier system in place, you could almost play a little game of “guess the tiers”
With the Tactix, for example, Watson would be Tier 1, who is the other one? TPSR, Poi as they are SF’s or Faka even though she is only development? Bird at a guess would only be level 3 with Watson, TPSR, Poi and Faka ahead of her? I don’t know, I’m only guessing but having this tier system in place is really going to shake things up.
