For me would like Haythornwaite to stay for another year, will improve her game. being selfish and thinking of England. What about Maddy Proud leaving for Thunderbirds, like Eddy would be her home town club
I mean Proud may choose to go home, but it would be an enormous loss for the Swifts. I expect they’ll throw almost everything they have at her. She’s probably the most important part of their team right now, except for maybe Klau and Wallace. If Haythornthwaite wants to stay in Australia I think she can go to one of the clubs Pitman doesn’t. So Fever, Lightning or Giants. Her GA ability could probably sneak her an opportunity at one of the Melbourne clubs as well.
Would make sense if Proud is going home. Explains the reasoning behind Pitman not being offered a contract.
Swifts need to give Fraser a contract for sure. Nat H is a strong player, but they don’t need her. Fraser is a strong NSW player.
Look after your own before signing imports.
Plus they have Eagland who should be dropped. It’s baffling why they gave her a 3 year contract.
Is Eagland under contract for 2021 AllieC?
If so, shame as the logical list management for me was to drop Eagland sign Aryang. Sure that is 4 defenders but they had 4 contracted defenders this year and both Francis and Aryang play WD. So no biggie.
If they have to keep Eagland then I hope they drop Francis. Both Lewis and Aryang deserve contracts.

Didn’t Fever go all out immediately after the latest player agreement was finalised (when getting rid of Medhurst) and sign the entire roster to 3 year deals?
Coz, you know, to stop any other team from poaching them
I’m pretty sure Eagland is on a 3 year deal. They may have a “Medhurst get out clause” though so it wouldn’t surprise me to see her go. Aryang and Lewis for Eagland and Francis.
how many years is ATN on? I wonder if she’d be tempted home now there’s an opening at Vixens? She always played her best netball there, maybe she can recapture some form?
So if majority of the Fever roster were on 3 year deals, they’d be off contract soon? I wonder if the fact that Stacey is stepping down at the end of the 2021 season will cause some players to only be willing to sign single year deals or even move on.
There is potential for a lot of movement in this signing period with teams surely scrapping parts of their rosters and retiring players. Also injured players coming back is something to watch for I guess. This could be a very interesting off season, hopefully we start hearing news about signings soon.I wouldn’t be surprised to see Francis go back to Superleague. Bayman is in England and they are due to get married soon.
Sunday Aryang is so exciting. Fever would be stupid not to sign her up.
Oh yes, that makes sense. A shame that a few times in the past few years, deals have been heavily affected by things like licenses and then the setting out of general competition contracts. But I guess it’s been understandable since SSN is relatively new and team expansion is a long term goal
Jbss ATN is contracted for next year (3 year contract).
Matilda Garrett has posted an Instagram story at a cafe in Noosa with the caption “The new local”. Maybe a move to Lightning is on the cards?
She’s a better switch up than ALJ & could provide a meaningful change when the Lightning defence aren’t doing well.
