Nice to see they are backing local talent….. Eboni’s stats were extremely weak for an import GK (that i assume would have commanded a considerable salary).

Is Kamo only 180cm tall though? Thats a very short defence end given the height of goal shoots in SSN. Jane Watson is only 181cm i guess, but she’s quite unique with outstanding elevation (and had great height/protection in the ferns with Kopua and Rore in front of her).

Wow I didn’t see that coming given Ash Ervin was the defensive TP this year but Remi is a huge talent. Very similar to RBD. They’ve played together at Cougars.

This does give off the vibe they have a reasonably big name signing up their sleeve? I just can’t think of whom.

Good to see them thinking long term though. Wallam with a season under her belt, a potential Diamonds debut later in the year (plus training with the Diamonds currently) plus a proper pre season, could be lethal next year.

I thought they may be getting Shaquanda Greene-Noel. She’s the T&T captain and had a great season in VNSL this year. But really not sure.

If I recall correctly Maweni moved to VNSL because of being away from family and Australia’s border policy at the time, rather than her being unwanted. Perhaps she could be interested in coming back now that it should be a bit easier to go back to South Africa.

They appear to be looking quite long term. A shame Jenner didn’t stick around, with the influence of Bulley and a starting spot at GK she may have been able to reinvent herself – not to say she can’t do that at Fever.
