Dream come true for tough Queensland defender
https://firebirds.net.au/news/dream-come-true-tough-queensland-defender
Wow, rapt for Unie. Has played with Kamo at Cougars this year.
Unie definitely has the game for this level. Just needs a chance.
Is a very short defensive end though.
Here they are @FirebirdsQld fans: your 2023 squad.
Which signing are you most excited about?

Now that season 2023 has 80 fully contracted players, let's take a look at how your team shaped up.

A great story for Unie but I do think FโBirds will have it tough next year. 2 GDs and a short GK. Hopefully they can all step up!
It’s behind a paywall but the West Australian Sport has a heading that ‘Medhurst returns to Fever in shock netball comeback’.
Can anyone give the gist of it please? The comments suggest she is on the reserves bench for the Fever ANC team unfortunately not a recall to the Suncorp team ๐ hopefully she gets some good game time!
Oh sorry I didn’t see this earlier. It’s a clickbait headline obviously, but Nat Medhurst is simply going to play for the Fever reserves team in the ANC. A story that one of our forumers TB actually broke several weeks ago.
I just rewatched a Cougars VS Thunder game from the Sapphire Series, featuring Remi Kamo against Annika Lee-Jones. ALJ is almost a head taller then Kamo, but Kamo did a great job positioning and has a great jump on her- a bit like Olivia Lewis actually. I think the FB defence end will be stronger than people expect!
This is such a good way of wrapping it all up. Check it out…
Hereโs a look at all the ins and outs for 2023.
Who do you think will be holding the Suncorp Super Netball trophy at the end of next season? ๐ pic.twitter.com/tzJBAvmDhc

Chelsea pitman is not retiring.
Not sure where sheโs landed (I have an inkling itโs Manchester thunder) but in reference to when she will get to put the police uniform back in, she has said she has another season of netball to go first.
I saw that! TP again do you think? Maybe UK again with her Roses connections?
Yeah Iโm not too sure, itโll be interesting to see whether she is content with being a SSN TP or wants more court time.
Craving a bit of FAST5? Our Lightning players will join forces with the @AdelaideTBirds and @FijiNetball to form two teams for a match tomorrow at 1pm AEST. Watch LIVE on @NetballAust TV ๐บhttps://t.co/5LhPDfpJ3m #NetballinFiji#PacificAusSports #SSNTourFiji pic.twitter.com/uCb7JDsMU2
