Nooooooooooooooooo :negative:
Rahni is the future of the Vixens. The future is now.
My thoughts aside staying at Vixens and playing with Diamonds is far better for her long term ambitions. No secret Kumwenda is on her last contract and surely Rahni will want to play with her bestie Austin :rose:
Oh, with you on that Tully. That would be awful.
Anderson steps down as Firebirds Head Coach

The Courier Mail reports only Ravaillion, Dunkley and Bueta are under contract for next season.
Might be a good chance of Wallam leaving.
.@GIANTS_Netball have kicked off @SuperNetball’s signing period before the 2022 season’s even finished — securing their entire team for the 2023 season.

I think that if Aiken-George comes back, then Wallam might leave. Tbirds maybe? Unless they decide to elevate Austin.
As for Anderson leaving, I’m not too surprised. Commuting and looking after a young family is a big job.
I think that she has a good netball brain but is a little too calm. Don’t get me wrong, I like a coach who has a cool head on their shoulders, but sometimes she came across as simply disinterested during matches. Good luck to her though.
I’m a little surprised that all of the Giants resigned – especially the three bench players. They barely get to go on court! But I suppose there’s no guarantee they’ll get court time elsewhere either so the grass isn’t always greener
With the Giants, all 7 regular starting players were on 2-year deals, so it was just a matter of the bench players agreeing to go around again, and they’ve all done that, so they must be happy to continue there.
I worked out the other day that Lauren Moore got 30 minutes a game on average last year at Swifts and this year she’s only got 13.5 minutes per game.
Would love NS to do a write up on the big moves between this year and last and if it was the seemingly the right decision or not
Hmmm, something to think about. Personally, I think if you’re not simply talking about finishing positions, then I reckon most have turned out to be bad moves. Austin has been a success overall, but the others?
Would you say Olivia Lewis had a good move? I can’t remember how much court time she was getting at Fever but Rudi Ellis is sure getting none in her place!
In hindsight it would have made a lot of sense for Tippah Dwan to go to Collingwood and Sophie Garbin to go to Thunderbirds. Might have worked out better for both of them
In hindsight Sophie Garbin would have been better off staying at Swifts. She would have been the starting GS and probably the fourth Diamond shooter for CWGs 🤷♂️
Can never predict an injury. But I always thought it was a strange move to Magpies.Oh yeah, Lewis was a good move I guess, but of course Fever is already in the GF on home court. Just wondering would people rather get more court time, or have more success in a team where they get less court time???
