Didn’t know where to put this and its not worth a new thread. What is a ‘player sponsor’. Thunderbirds have announced Actio Consultancy Group as Shamera’s Player Sponsor. Just wondering what it means.

Yeah, not sure exactly what it entails, but I know some teams have them. It seems to be a big thing in the UK where the players don’t earn a lot. Companies can sponsor just one player.

Can anyone clarify or maybe even heard some type of whisper to this little rumour I heard. I feel the best person who would know @Nesian – Nweke to Vixens for 2024?

I want to be clear, I don’t have any good sources. I am not in-the-know of things. And even how the person heard of this – they were at the GF………after the game when trying to get to players etc, they heard Nweke and Vixens in the same sentence. They don’t even know what the sentence was, just that they heard those two names.

So me hearing that, and then remembering what @Nesian had posted on here. I’m putting 1 + 1 together ?‍♂️

IF this is true HOLY CRAP ??
I don’t think our NZ players need to go to Aus. But if this is true, she could be the next Fowler!

They might have just been informally seeing if she was interested. Doesn’t mean anything really. I don’t think she will take up any offers. Can’t blame them for trying though!
