If Tbirds sign Cardwell, I’ll forgive them for letting Lenize go. Cardwell was my favourite player in the Quad Series
Not announced yet, maybe she lowers herself, and plays in ANZ.
Anz isnt a step down, maybe she wants to still play traditional netball thats a step up from English league?
It make more sense for her skill set to play SSN with her long range shooting and i dont think ANZ needs any more imports, especially shooters.
Here it is: your guide to how each Suncorp Super Netball team is shaping up for season 2023.

Gabi Sinclair contract not renewed
I feel for Sinclair 🙁 . A surprising choice considering Garbin only had one really solid game this season. I wonder who’ll take her place- personally I’m hoping for Allen to be elevated.
Just wondering, why are players only allowed to sign 1 year contracts?
They aren’t. Many players are on 2 year contracts. Sinclair was one of the ones that wasn’t.
I’m not sure. Maybe something to do with the pay deal signed last year? That only lasts two years (ie 2022 and 2023) but maybe that’s unrelated
Oh ok, yeah, that would make sense. Thank you
Last year, everyone was off contract at the same time because of the new TV deal. Quite a few signed for 2022 & 2023. But some were only signed for 2022. The players who are being released are all from that group.
So they’d really have 3 predominant GS. Yeah Cardwell can run GA but like Garbin not as dominant there as playing GS and probably not a whole game at SSN level.
Still reckon Thunderbirds is best bet for her.
Cardwell might have links to Obst through roses… so I can only hope the rumours are true.
That would be a MASSIVE gain for Tbirds!!!At this point, TBirds need Cardwell. I can’t see a lineup of Austin and Dwan/Horjus lasting the whole season. Tbirds need an experienced shooter who can shoot from range as well as play GA to give Austin court time.
