If I read correctly, it took three years to find the reason for the pain in an elite sports environment with doctors, physios and other health professionals.
And yet endometriosis is a pretty common health problem – 1/10, maybe even 1/9. We need to do better for every woman who suffers from debilitating pain in the lower abdominal area.
For those who do, come forward…for those who are consulted, consider it’s caused by endometriosis as the cause sooner rather than later.
